Dear Subscribers,
God bless you and yours! I hope you are doing well and enjoying the presence of Christ in your lives!
This week I finished the Chapter 10 audio book for "The Mystery of Iniquity." Here's the link if you need it:
It's been a blessing for me to revisit the Scriptures in the book as I edit the audio book. God's Word is eternal and His truths are relevant and useful for everyday living. I've already been able to use the book as a reference on many occasions when I get questions from our church members and those from strangers on YouTube or via email. The revelation Jesus Christ gave to us in this hour is sufficient and I've not seen anyone come up with a question that the Bible cannot provide a solid answer for!
So I thought I would offer some encouragement to those of you who have started reading The 12 New Testament Mysteries Revealed but may have stopped reading or may not have finished it yet. There's a time and season for everything, so I encourage you to do the following:
Pray and ask the Lord for strength to resume your reading. Look at your reading time as seeking God, for He promised if you would draw nigh to Him, He would draw near to you.
Set an obtainable goal for daily reading. Start with 5 minutes a day, then increase the minutes as you gain momentum. That's how I wrote the book! I worked an hour a time, sometimes 30 minutes at a time, or longer.
Take notes on what you've read or write inside the book. The more interaction you have with a text, the more likely you are to remember it, especially if you're a visual learner.
Teach what you've learned in the book. Even researchers have recognized that a person remembers 90% of what they teach others. So read with the goal of sharing Bible truth with a friend, family member, or coworker.
Use the book for family devotions. My wife has hoped that our family would read my book soon in our family devotions time, after we finish our current book, so I'm excited for that. My older children will read one paragraph at a time, and we often have quality discussions as a result of the text.
Again, I hope the new book has been a blessing. My prayer is that it will help you grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord. I read the following Brother Branham quote to our church last night, as the prophet taught a mature Christian, living in the spiritual promised land of the baptism of the Holy Ghost, has a mind with clear understanding:
How many's received the promise of the Holy Ghost? Oh, aren't you glad that you're in the land? Over here now, eating the old corn, eating the strong things of God, and got a clear understanding; your--your spiritual mind is all unmuddled up. You know exactly Who He is. You know exactly What He is. You know exactly where you're going. You know exactly all about It. You know in Whom you have believed and persuaded He's able to keep that which you've committed to Him against the day. Oh, that's the one; that's who Paul's talking to now.
